God is good, isn’t he? Amen. I’m telling you, I’m praying that you go through the Christmas season. You enjoy the presence of the Lord, you enjoy who He is because Christ has come. He’s here. We’re not. We’re not waiting on the Messiah. He’s here and he lives within us. Matter of fact, the Bible says the same spirit that raises Christ from the dead, that lives in us and quickens our motorbike.

[00:00:20] Don’t you glad about that? Yeah, I am. I’m glad about it. I’m glad that he came as a baby and a manger and he was the answer for the world. Matter of fact, I’m glad that he’s not in the major anymore, that he, I also came and had a ministry and live and dwell TOAs. That’s why his name is Emmanuel. Well, Emmanuel e Amen.

[00:00:39] Yeah, I, I’m gonna go beyond that. I’m glad that he went to the cross for us and he is not on the cross anymore. Aren’t you glad about that? Some of y’all may not be glad about that, but I’m glad that only he went to the cross, but he also went in the tomb and he is not in the tomb anymore. Anybody glad about that?

[00:00:55] I am. Not only is he not in the tomb, but the Bible says, and he went all the way outta tomb and then he ascended on high and he seated at the right hand of the Father. Amen. Are you glad about that? Everybody else is still in the. Everybody else is still there, but my God has come out of the grave. Amen.

[00:01:14] All power, all authority has been given to him, and he reigns forever and ever and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever and ever, and ever and ever. Amen. He reigns for on high. He is the king of kings and the Lord of Lords. And. The alpha, the Omega, the beginning and the end. The first and the last, and everything in between.

[00:01:37] Amen. He is a good God and we serve him. That’s why we celebrate somebody. Just, I love what Pastor Burn says. They ask me Why in the world when we go crazy about about Christmas? It’s not about the lights. It’s not about the gifts. It’s not about all the other things. It’s about our savior has come and he brought his kingdom with him, and we celebrate the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

[00:01:58] Amen. Still the answer for the world today. Look at somebody and say he’s still the answer. Still the answer, I mean, hasn’t changed. He’s still the answer for the world today. God is still good. He’s still doing great and amazing things in our lives and I’m glad that you, for you that, for you, scrooges that came in here this morning, , I pray that you get shot up with the, with Baja bug gets outta you and then you just like, I’m gonna celebrate.

[00:02:21] Amen. Amen. All this crews, I’m telling you what everybody and coming with the happy holiday. Merry Christmas up in here in Jesus name. All right. Um, you guys remember, uh, last week when I told you about, uh, Vanessa and how that she is always wanting something practical for Christmas? You guys remember me telling you guys about that?

[00:02:41] Always just practical, just practical stuff. Uh, like for instance, I asked her again, looking at Faith. I asked her again. I said, Hey Vanessa, what do you want for Christmas? And she said, she goes, I want a sewing. . So I’m like, man, I can do that. I can get you a sewing machine. You know, I can go to Craigslist.

[00:02:57] No, I’m just kidding, honey, I’m gonna get you a good sewing machine. , , she’s like, I’m gonna shoot you and Craig if you gimme a sew machine, from Craigslist. Um, but anyway, uh, but she wanted to sew a machine, and it was, and it’s always something practical. Yesterday she, she sent me a note. Uh, I was studying, uh, for the day.

[00:03:14] She sent me a note. She goes, I went out and bought myself a. I said, what’d you, what’d you get? And she said, hedge trimmers. She went and bought herself a hedge trimmer and so, so that she could use a, you know, trimmer as you could see out front. Anyway, so, uh, hedge trimmers and what else? What is that one thing that I forgot about?

[00:03:31] A vacuum cleaner. You know, she wanted a vacuum cleaner for her, for the house, and I’m just like, I can do that. I can absolutely do that. Those are things that are practical. She loves those practical things. So I though love the fact that she always is listening throughout the year of the things that I say that.

[00:03:48] That we want, or the kids or say something, she goes, she would be like, um, you know, Braden wants this. So like, how do you know? She goes, we were talking and in conversation she said that she’s like this. And so I found out about that. So I started sleep talking, like while we would sleep. And so I would just, right in the middle of the night I’d be like, uh, Beretta, she in Jesus’ name, you know, or I’d be, or I’d say something like shotgun, you know, over and under, you know, or a fishing pole on fishing pole.

[00:04:14] You know, and so she, but she doesn’t wake me up at all. She just lets me keep on talking . And so I, I just hope that in conversation that I get the things that I’m, that I’m asking for, and the, uh, that, that, you know, that the Lord is revealing to me in my dreams, in my sleep. I’m praying that those, those things would happen.

[00:04:29] And so I, um, I had a conversation and I believe that the things that I’m asking for every single one of ’em is in. Did you guys know that every single one of the things that I want in the is in the Bible. So I’m gonna, I’m gonna share with you this morning, all I want for Christmas is in the Bible. This is what this is.

[00:04:46] Um, in Psalms three, chapter three, it says, but you oh Lord, are a shields, I mean a shields for me about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. That’s Psalms three. So I, I’m telling. The spirit of God is moving this morning. I see him up on the face of the waters. And so gift cards to Shields, babe, would be great.

[00:05:09] And then, and then this one is one of my favorites in Psalms 84 10. It says, for a day in your courts is Beretta, I mean, better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. Amen. And here’s another one right here. This one of my, one of my, one of my favorite.

[00:05:32] Um, it, it talks about, um, in numbers 13 and 30 it says, but Cabela’s, I mean, Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, let us go up at once and occupy it for we are well able to overcome it with a gift card from Cabela’s in Jesus’ name. So I’m just telling you, there’s all kind of stuff that is involved.

[00:05:53] Here’s, here’s my point. A lot of times, and this is the reason why I’m saying this, a lot of times we, we get gifts and we want them. To be molded in what we want them to be. You can’t do that with Jesus. Amen. He is who he is and he is the one who’s come as the gift, and it just so happens that he is the gift of Christmas and he’s everything that we need.

[00:06:20] Amen. Do you hear what I’m telling you? Everything. That we need, and God has supplied all of our needs according to his riches and glories by Christ Jesus. Us, and sometimes we use that verse as a scripture because we’re trying to get people to give or whatever. But the truth is that when he talk about needs, he’s not just talking about financial needs because he is able to cause us to abound and, and, and be blessed beyond what we could ask or think.

[00:06:49] So I’m not talking about just financial. Do you think the same guy that can provide for you financially is the same guy that can provide healing for your. It’s the same God that can bring willingness to your mind, that can bring healing to your family. The Bible says that he’s a restorer of the breach.

[00:07:04] The same God that can bring healing to your family is the same God that can protect you, the same God that can go before you, the same God that has redeemed you, the same God that has blessed you, has given you everything that you need that pertains to life and godliness, that has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

[00:07:21] The same God that says that his name is a strong tower that the righteous can run into and be. Is that the same guy? He’s all encompassing. He’s able to do all things. He’s able to do everything. He’s, he’s all sufficient, and he knows exactly what you need. Amen. So I’m praying that we, we get a revelation of who he is this morning.

[00:07:43] So if you have your Bibles, I want you to turn to Second Corinthians chapter nine, and I’m gonna pray for us this morning as we get into Bible. Before we get in the Bible, in the word, show me your Bibles, I wanna see ’em. Your bring your, bring your scripture, bring the word, show it to me, your electronic devices.

[00:07:55] I’m blinded by the light, blinded it and. Um, Lord, we thank you for your word. Your word is so powerful. It’s sharper than any two edge sword. I wanna thank you, Lord, that this word, even as we were singing these songs of, of praise and worship and these Christmas songs, Lord, they’re not just songs, but they are reality for us.

[00:08:17] The Emmanuel has come to us and you have, you live in us, Emmanuel. And so we just thank you, Lord, that everything that we do today, everything and in our lives, Lord, we wanted to bring glory and honor to you because you’re our king. You’re our Lord, and we thank you for that. In Jesus name. Amen. This past week I had a, uh, a situation where I was, I mean, I’m, I’m joking guys.

[00:08:45] The, the, the stuff with shields and everything. I’m, I’m joking about that. Cause I told, if you guys don’t know this, maybe you know this, but Vanessa has heard every time I get up here, Vanessa has heard this message about 20 times. I mean, that’s just what a preacher does. I mean, I look at stuff and be like, there’s a message in that, you know?

[00:09:00] And so she knows this message and after I told her about the, the scriptures that I was turning and twisting, she goes, I hope you don’t get struck by lightning when you get up there, . So I’m thankful that your care. She’s like, I’m getting the insurance policy policy out right now. Um, but one of the things that, um, I told her was, this is a true story.

[00:09:18] So I had a rifle that I, that, uh, she bought me a long time ago. And, uh, it was a nice rifle. It was a great rifle. Um, and, um, we ha, I mean, it was one of my favorites. It was a, it was like a John Wayne lever action. Marlin 33 30. And I love that rifle cuz it was, it was just a beautiful rifle and she bought it for me.

[00:09:40] And I remember a long time ago, long, long time ago, I, uh, we had something that happened with one of the kids or something and I had to sell that rifle and it made me sad and she, we, we both agreed that we should sell it and so we could, we could fulfill whatever we needed to do to pay for it. I think something happened with one of the kids and we needed to, we needed to sell it to, to pay.

[00:10:03] Uh, whatever it was. And so I missed that rifle. So here recently, I just said to her, I go, Hey, I go, I really would like to have that rifle back. And so she, Vanessa does what she always does. When I show her a picture of it with the price under the bottom of it, she goes, Hmm. You know what I’m saying? Now, for a man, we don’t know what that means.

[00:10:24] That could mean a, a multiplicity of things, right? We don’t know what that. It could mean, Hmm, tough luck. You know what I’m saying? It could mean, Hmm. I’m thinking about it. It could mean, Hmm, not in a million years, Bubba. You know what I’m saying? You can make it to me, whatever you want it to mean, but she just says, Hmm.

[00:10:39] But what I’ve come to realize over the years about my lovely wife is that, hmm, means I’ll pray about it, or it means that I’ll pray for you. Then if it’s God, it’ll happen. If it’s not, it won’t. But I’ll pray that it happened. I’ve seen this many times, so sometimes I’ll look for the, hmm. And so I said that to her this week.

[00:11:01] I showed it to her. I sent it to her. You know what I’m saying? All the above, everything except for an airplane flying with a thing behind it. You know what I’m saying? In the sky, I’m doing everything I can. So all of a sudden she just says, Hmm. And that was all she said. She went about her day, went about.

[00:11:14] And I, I was just like, well, that means if it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t, whatever. And I’m telling you what, last night I was at somebody’s house and I was telling him, he, they asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I go, Hey. I said, man, I’ve showed Vanessa this. Joking. I was just joking. I said, I show Vanessa this rifle.

[00:11:35] I really wanted this rifle. And so he goes, I have that rifle. He went in his closet, got the rifle, and set it down in my lap and said, that’s your. And gave it to me last night. And so I was just like, I started crying because nobody knows the history that I had to sell it. You know, I lost it, now I want it again.

[00:11:54] He had no clue. Never said, and he, and all of a sudden he drops it in my lap and said, that’s, this is your rifle. I just started crying. I was like, that is amazing. God, you know. Exactly. It’s not, it is not even that I needed it. It was the fact that I believe the Lord said, I love you. Amen. I love. , and I’m going, I’m going, I know the desires of your heart.

[00:12:14] Yes. Here’s what I wanna say to some of you this morning. Some of you this morning just be like, well, I don’t know. That ain’t never happened to me. You know, uh, somebody come up to me and say, Hmm. You know what I’m saying? Somebody, somebody walk up to me and go, Hmm. I’m telling you what. I believe the Lord does that because he goes, huh, that’s not too hard for me.

[00:12:33] Come on. Hmm. I can do all things that I can do. Whatever is above what you can think or ask. Hmm. I know the enemy meant that for evil, but I’m turning in for good. Huh? I know that the world is crazy and it looks like that, but , I ca I sit my son and he’s on the throne and therefore still the answer for the world today.

[00:12:51] Huh? There’s nothing too hard for me. Is there anything too hard for our. Nothing too hard for our God. So I’m telling you, he knows exactly what you need before you even ask. Amen. Some of you don’t think that he’s that good, but I want to tell you that he is, he’s that. He is that good enemy has has it out for you, but God is good.

[00:13:11] Let me, let’s read, let’s read, uh, second Corinthians chapter nine. I’m gonna show you a picture of who he is. Think about this as we get ready to read it. I’m reading it out. Um, the New King James version. Guys, thank y’all for doing that. I know I changed first service. My, our, how many guys can you guys give a hand to our, our team in the back?

[00:13:28] They do such a great job because lemme tell you the reason why I want you to give them a hand. They have a pastor who changes all the time. I float in, I float it out. They just flow with the spirit or whatever you want to call that. Anyway, here we go. We’re gonna read, I’m going back to the new King James version.

[00:13:45] Here’s what it. Verse one. Now concerning the ministering to the Saints plus Paul sending a letter, it is Tolus super fluid for me to write to you. Now remember, he’s writing this as he’s in chains. You know, this is Paul writing this and he’s saying this, and he’s saying to write to you for, I know your willingness about, which I boast of you to the Macedonians and Akea, uh, WA was ready a year.

[00:14:10] And your ze has stirred up the majority yet. I have sent the br, sent the brethren. Least our boasting of you should be in vain in this respect that. As I said, you may be ready now. I wanna stop there for a second cause I’m gonna talk about what Be Ready is. You know, we talk about giving all the time cause we’re gonna keep on reading this whole chapter.

[00:14:31] We’re gonna be in there in this chapter. But Shane’s being ready, he’s saying this, when you are ready for something, you are getting prepared. Is that. You’re getting ready. You’re getting prepared. You’re knowing what’s coming. You’re knowing what needs to happen, so therefore you prepare for it. You get your heart ready for it.

[00:14:47] That’s what we, where we talking about you. Many of you got ready this morning for church. I don’t see anybody that just got up and like a lot and then he just showed up here. I don’t see everybody seemed like they’re put together. You know what I’m saying? You may have said that when you woke up this morning.

[00:14:59] I know I did. I looked at the mirror like. And then all of a sudden the spirit of the Lord comes, all of a sudden, I, I put clothes on, I put the cologne on in the cloud and I walk through the cloud like I do. Um, you guys don’t do that. Y’all don’t do that. I do that. It’s like, it’s a glory cloud. And I just walked too.

[00:15:14] Like it’s a, it is a this, but it’s just cologne. Anyway, so you got ready, you got ready and so and so here’s, here’s Lisa some Macedonia. Come with me and find you unprepared. I wanna say this to you cuz it’s a phrase. I believe the church has not been prepared. For a long time. I, matter of fact, I believe that we’ve been sleep at the wheel on some of the things that are, that, that are going on, but he said, I’m, I’m bringing some people with me.

[00:15:39] So who can be prepared? We not to mention you should be ashamed of this, confident of, of this confident boasting. Therefore, I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go to you ahead of time and prepare your generous gift beforehand. So all of that to tell them about so that they can be ready to prepare their generous gift beforehand.

[00:16:03] Do you know that the Bible talks about each man, each person, each woman, whoever is that, that they give what is purposed in their heart? Because we are, as Pastor Vernon said, a generous people. And the reason why we’re generous and we speak about and talk about generosity is because our God is generous.

[00:16:24] Amen. Is he generous? Do you believe that he’s generous? Yes. Let me tell you how generous he is. He is so generous that he gave his only begotten son. Yes. Is that a generous God? Yes. He said he’s a, he’s talking about this, he prepare that you will be prepared and, and talking about generosity, um, which he had previously promised that he may be ready as a matter of generosity, as a, as not his grudging obligation.

[00:16:50] He’s saying Get ready, get rid to get, get the gift. And then we hear this a lot because we’re talking, we hear this, this verse a lot, and usually during giving verse six. But this, I say he who so sparingly will also reap sparing. And he who shows bounty flee will also reap bounty. Flee. That’s a, that’s, that’s what he saying.

[00:17:08] It’s a, it’s a principle. It’s apri. It happens. So Lee, so let each one give as he purposes in his heart, I just said that not grudgingly or out of necessity for God loves. Cheerful. Cheerful, cheerful, cheerful giver. He loves a cheerful giver. There was somebody that said this to me, uh, one time about this, this phrase, cuz I used to take you be the one to take up the offering a lot.

[00:17:34] And it says that if you read that verse and you read it over again, you can take it to mean that God only loves a cheerful. and that if I give, then God will love me. If I give you can, you can take it that way. Cause he loves a cheerful giver, but he also loves the sinner. He also loves those that are, that have fallen short.

[00:18:02] He also loves those that that have ha that are not in the kingdom. He also loves those that that feel like that they don’t compare, that he also loves, he loves. But he also just added to it loves a cheerful giver. So you don’t, we don’t give, just what Pastor Vernon said, we’re not giving to none of your giving can, can add, can earn your salvation.

[00:18:22] Is that true? You can’t. You cannot earn enough. Try to try to get salvation. But he says God loves a cheerful giver and God is able to make all grace abound towards you. That you always having all sufficiency in all things may have an abundance for every good work. As it is written, he has dispersed, let listen sentence, this.

[00:18:43] He has dispersed abroad. He has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever so you can actually read it. His righteousness forever, his righteousness. It’s forever. It continues. And so now, now verse 10 says, now may he who supply seed to the soar and bread for food supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increased the fruits of your righteousness while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes Thanksgiving through us to God.

[00:19:19] Now look up here just for a second. Think about that. It causes Thanksgiving through us to God. Giving triggers Thanksgiving to the Lord. As you turn, turn into people who are giving it trigger, it causes you to be thankful. I’ve never, I’ve never seen anybody be, uh, give, give something away. If they had to do a grudge and they give something away that God has told ’em to give and it doesn’t bless them, and they be like, thank you Lord, that for the opportunity to be able to give anybody know what I’m talking about?

[00:19:46] Being able to give, which causes you to be thankful, thankful, thankful to God. Verse 12. For the administration of this service, not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many Thanksgivings to God, while through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the Gospel of Christ and for your liberal sharing with them and all men.

[00:20:12] And I want you to stop here just for a second. I want you to think about this. I wanna say this to you. Sojourn, there has been many people blessed because of your. And some of you, just like you, we have no idea how many people have been blessed. There have men. There are ministries, there are missionaries, there are people that because you give, and Fred Market was one of ’em, said Because of what?

[00:20:34] Because of who and how you give. Many people are blessed. You guys remember that song a long time ago that they wore out on the radio Ray? Thank you for giving to the, you gotta know what I’m saying. I am a life that was changed and so I, I mean, they wore that song out. I mean, but it’s true. There are people that you’ll never meet that you’re giving has blessed and they’re able to say, thank you, Lord, that I’m able to receive help and service and ministry because of what you have.

[00:21:14] Amen. Amen. So he’s, he’s talking, he’s talking. Paul’s talking about this. He, he’s thinking, he says this, and by verse 14, and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. This is, this is a point. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift. His indescribable gift.

[00:21:37] What does that mean? His indescribable.

[00:21:42] What does that mean to you? It’s not what or a it it’s a he. We’re talking about Jesus. Jesus is the indescribable gift. Yes. He’s a gift that keeps on giving. He’s a gift that we need to receive on a daily. He can continue to receive who he is because he’s indescribable. Some of that, some of your song, that song went in there in your head just in Right.

[00:22:06] You know the song Ind I’m not gonna sing it, but you know what I’m talking. But he’s the gift of Jesus who’s indescribable. He came into this world and so because of him coming, we now have life and have it more abundantly. Amen. How many you are are, are thankful for the life of Christ. He came as a think about how he came to the earth as a babe and, and it’s still the answer for the world today.

[00:22:29] He’s still the. The world was chaotic. The world had, uh, there was issues and things that are going on. I know right now because of the things that we have going on in our government and the things that we have going on in our, in our society, the things that we have going on in our generations, you can look and be like, this is the worst that it’s ever been.

[00:22:47] I will tell you that it is not. This is, things are, the enemy has been wreaking havoc. Uh, the Bible says this, since the kingdom of, of the kingdom of this world, the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violence taken by force. There’s, there’s al The enemy’s always been after the, the Kingdom of God, but thanks be to God because he gave his indescribable gift.

[00:23:10] In the middle of chaos so that we can have life. So that you can have life. I talked to a pastor recently. He, one of the reasons why he said he, he does not enjoy the preaching Christmas season and he doesn’t enjoy it because he says we keep on saying the same thing over and over again. Christ came and he died.

[00:23:27] He lived among us and he came as a babe and then he died. They say he, it’s the same thing over and over again. I wanna tell you, we need to keep on preaching the message that he came and dwelt among us, and so that we can receive it. It’s not one of those deals where it’s just a mundane thing. Christ, the Lord has come and he lives among us, Christ the Lord.

[00:23:48] That means that you don’t, if you don’t, if you’re saying that, then that means you really don’t have a revelation of what it means. That Christ, the God of creation, came down to earth so that he can live among us, and, and, and he came and he gave his life so that we could have life. That’s a continued revelation.

[00:24:06] When I think about that. I can’t, it’s hard to describe when I think about the fact that Jesus brought his kingdom with him, with him and his kingdom is now, and we get to live in that kingdom. Yes. And that we came out of the kingdom of darkness and into his marvelous life. Yes. Yeah. Can you, can you, can you imagine?

[00:24:25] Amen. Talk about this indescribable gift. He is the indescribable gift. Amen. Here’s what that looks like. I’ve heard people, I’ve heard people talk about, I mean, you, the, you know, when, when there’s, uh, an event that happens, you guys ever see those news reporters when they walk up to people and they go, sir, ma’am, you were here during this explosion or during, during this, this, whatever just happened.

[00:24:46] Can you, can you tell me what you saw? And they always find the ones, you ever know what I’m talking about? They always find the. They’re just like, I don’t know. I was sitting at McDonald’s and I heard a big old bang, and I was like, who? What’s that? Bang? I don’t know. And I’m here. And that’s, and they find those people, you know what I’m saying?

[00:25:04] Y’all know what I’m talking about. I love to watch those because they, they, they know what happened. They were there, they saw what happened. But words can’t come to describe exactly what’s. Folks, I want to tell you, we were there. I’m telling you, God came into this world and he, and he came as a baby, and we know what happened.

[00:25:24] We experienced this, but words can’t describe exactly what all is going on. Do you hear what I’m saying? You can’t describe it. I’ve heard people be like, uh, ma’am, what happened to you? Um, when, when all of a sudden you, you were, you were diagnosed with cancer and now you’re, you’re healed and what, what happened?

[00:25:42] And did you know, did fear come on you? And they’d be like, I can’t describe it. All I can tell you is, is that I felt this peace. come over. You hear people say that? Yeah. I, I know that I lost a loved one. I heard pastor, pastor Kevin talk about the fact that when he, when he lost his wife so many years ago, not Meredith, she’s not here.

[00:25:59] I know y’all so many things. She’s not here, but his, his, his wife a long time ago, and he would tell me, he goes, Chris, I can’t describe it, but a piece came over me and it’s, it’s beyond anything that I can, that I can try to explain to you that’s indescribable. Because you can’t describe because peace is not a thing.

[00:26:16] It’s a person. He is the prince of peace. Yes. When I got shot, I asked Vanessa, other than the fact that she wanted to look at the, uh, life insurance and she goes, there’s this peace that came over me. A peace. You can’t describe it, it’s indescribable. And they go, what? What is that like? Cuz you should have lost your mind.

[00:26:36] You should have gone crazy. The depression should have took you out. All the things that are chaos in your life should have took you out. I can’t describe. The peace of God just comes over and it actually says it in the Bible, in the scriptures cuz it says, the peace of God thus surpasses all understanding will rule your heartened mind through Christ Jesus, the peace of God.

[00:27:00] Now think about this for a minute. You should get excited about this. The peace of God that surpasses all understanding will. And guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. That word rule is an athletic term. It’s an athletic term that says you’re safe or you’re out, like an umpire would do if they were somebody was sliding in the home and say, you’re safe, or you’re out.

[00:27:24] Here’s the piece of God. You’re sliding in the home and all of a sudden the spirit of God and the enemy says, you’re out. You’re not gonna make it. The enemy says you’re. He says safe. God says Safe. Why? Because I know that he says that the name of the Lord is a strong tower and the righteous can run into it and be he’s safe.

[00:27:44] That’s good. You can’t describe that. I’ve heard people try to talk about, I’ve heard people talk about Pastor Terry, the joy of the Lord, and they just be like, well, how can you, how do you, you should not have joy. You shouldn’t have a smile on your face, what you’re going through. You should look like you’ve been sucking on persimmon and you, you, you should look like, you should look like Eor on Winnie the poo.

[00:28:02] You should look like. You should look like that. And they say, you know what? I just have this joy that I can’t describe. Why? Because that joy comes from the Lord and this joy of the Lord is. Is our strength. Yes. And you can’t, and all of a sudden the Bible talks about it. You make it up. It says that it’s unspeakable joy.

[00:28:23] Yes. You can’t describe it. You can’t figure it out. You can’t describe. It’s like you, like, I don’t even know. I know it’s not me, because I should be going crazy. I should be laughing till I’m crying, till I’m laughing and crying again. But all I know is is I’m laughing simply because he who sits in the heaven shall laugh because his anointed one is on the throne songs.

[00:28:46] You can’t describe it. I heard people say they can’t describe it. It’s indescribable. He is indescribable. I’ve heard people, pastor, mayor, talk about the presence of the Lord. , they talk about, can you describe the presence of the Lord? It’s like some people just like, well, it felt like a warm sensation.

[00:29:03] Anybody ever felt a warm sensation? But then you ask somebody else and they’d be like, it felt like somebody came up behind me and hugged me, or it felt like I couldn’t, I don’t know what’s going on. I, I couldn’t describe it. One, a Vanessa’s story is, is that when she, before she got saved, she went to a vineyard church coming out the Catholic church.

[00:29:19] you know what I’m saying? came outta the Catholic Church into the Vineyard Church. She goes, I went to a vineyard service. And she goes, all of a sudden these ladies were praying for me. And she said, I just began to cry. And she goes, I don’t know why I was crying. I couldn’t describe it, but I just kept crying.

[00:29:33] And she was, I was, she said, I was saying to myself, I, why am I crying? I don’t know why I’m crying. And she goes, then I felt like I was supposed to fall down, but I was like, no, you can’t fall down, you know? And so I’m just laughing and smiling because I’m just like, I know what. And so she’s describing what she felt was the presence of God.

[00:29:49] Yes. What she describing, what she described as the presence of God. Somebody else may feel something else. They may feel his peace. They may feel his joy, but it’s indescribable. Amen. It’s too, another version says it’s too great for words. Words can’t describe how amazing this gift is. Amen. Amen. God has called us to to thanks be to.

[00:30:15] And here’s what I, how. How I translate. Thanks be to God that you can’t describe it. Thanks be to God that you don’t have the words Enough for it. Yeah, thanks Be to God that you can’t figure it out because over and over and over again the indescribable gift comes and reveals himself to us. His name is Jesus.

[00:30:36] Some of you need that indescribable gift that says he’s the counselor. Like it says in Isaiah nine that some of you need an indescribable gift that says that he’s the the mighty God and you need him to come through in a mighty way. Some of you need the everlasting Father and the revelation of the father’s love.

[00:30:51] Some of you guys. Some of you guys need the Prince of peace. He is the indescribable gift. Amen. Yes. Amen. Amen. There’s no gift that you’ll. this coming Sunday. No gift that you’ll receive, that you, that you will, that’ll be more than the gift of who Jesus is. Amen. I’ll be able to describe every gift that Vanessa gets me this weekend.

[00:31:16] This weekend. I’ll be able to talk about that curly maple stock on that, on that over and under or whatever it is that she, she in between services. She, I walked in, I go, honey, cuz I always ask her, I go, what’d you think about the sermon? She goes, I got it. I got your Christmas list list. But the truth is, There’s no gift that her or anybody else will get me.

[00:31:38] That’ll compare to Jesus. Amen. That’s right. Yes. In closing, um, one of the things that I, I love about Christmas is, is I do love about, I love unwrapping gifts, and there are, in my opinion, two different people as they unwrap gifts. And you guys know what I’m talking. There’s a person who stands there and they go, it’s so pretty.

[00:32:02] I don’t want to tear it up. And tape by tape, they go through and they try to, you know what I’m talking, y’all know who I’m talking about. You may be sitting next to the person I’m talking about. They take their time and they take the bow off, and then they take one piece of the tape off and they take another piece of the tape off, and I’m sitting there going, oh my gosh, this open the thing.

[00:32:18] You know what I’m. And they’re just like, but it’s so pretty. Like, oh, and you want, I want ’em to give it to me. Give it to me. That’s what I, I got those, those kind of people, right. You know what I’m saying? Unwrapped a gift. Then there’s the other kind that opened the gift, like Cookie Monster, where they just, and they tear it up and they just throw it because they want to get to the gift.

[00:32:34] I want to tell you that this is what I, I want you to understand. The gift of Jesus is someone. He is one to be unwrapped and as you unwrap him that you experience the joy of Christmas because of who he is. Unwrap him, unwrap him and receive him. Amen.
